Meeting Discussion Items:
1. Treasurer’s report – Year end balance received and reviewed.

Discussion on park donations - Penn will receive $1000.
motioned-Timi Lesperance, seconded-Tammy Sheibley – motion passed.
Wagner will receive $750/ motioned-Bob Armstrong, seconded-Scott Mutzabaugh,
motion passed.
3. Equipment Turn-in – Mike is contacting each coach individually
4. League Meeting – Discussed new age brackets for next year– DAGSA would like to see three age groups as follows; 7-10,11-14, and 15-18. Mike requested that as many DAGSA Board members as possible attend the League meeting on Oct. 25, 2009 at Penn Twp Board Room at 6pm. Mike will get in touch with Shermansdale and request they send as many members as possible and will speak to them about the age proposals If they are in agreement, we will submit a letter to the League as well presenting our position.
5. Field Work: It was determined that no winter field work will be done, except possibly spraying the infield with grass and weed killer .
6. Penn Township: There are two vacant positions on the Penn Township Rec Board open to non-residents of Penn Township. Mike would like to see someone from DAGSA join so we can have knowledge of what the township is doing and be able to speak on behalf of DAGSA. It would also provide DAGSA with keys to every out-building in the park. The board meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month.

Open Discussion: Jim asked for suggestions to make the U-18
program more interesting and fun for the girls. There has been a lack of
tournaments and playoffs in that division for years. It was suggested to
conduct and inner-league tournament in early May hosted by Duncannon.
The shed at Penn needs new shingles. Ron Baker and Jim Reed offered to
re-shingle the roof. DAGSA will need to purchase white shingles.
