DAGSA Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting Discussion Items:

1. Teams – Shermansdale will not be fielding a U18 team for slow pitch this year.

2. By Law Amendment - Article XVIII – Player Safety is created. The bylaw amendment will prohibit 11-year-old DAGSA players from pitching for the U14 age group for the 2010 season. Additionally, all 11-year-old players must have signed parental consent to play in the in-field for all other in-field positions in the U14 DAGSA age group. Coaches must keep a copy of the signed consent forms in their possession at all games. There are no exceptions to 11-year-old DAGSA players pitching in the U14 age group. Motioned by Shannon Callaghan, seconded by Jason Urich. The vote passed unanimously with email responses from absent board members.

3. Tournament Draw – teams were drawn from the hat for the tournament schedule.
