DAGSA Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting Discussion Items:

Ron Baker called Meeting to order:

1. Treasurer’s Report - Tammy handed out a report with balances in Checking and Savings.

2. Safety Rule – There was a question whether an 11 yr old can pitch during the

regular season, if she turned 12 during the season. It was agreed that you have to be 12 yrs old as of Jan 1 of that season.

3. Shannon wanted to know if her girls could sign up to help out the 18&U, because they are having a hard time getting their players to show up. They would be floating players. Because we denied (2) girls after the cut-off, and they would have to be on the rostered team they came off of last year and not be floating players, it was decided that wouldn’t work.

4. Concession discussion – Ron just asked us to be patient with Huey. We will

evaluate this at the end of the season.

5. All-Stars – It was decided that Tammy Sheibley will coach the 10&U team. Motioned- 1^st by Bob and 2^nd by Nancy. It was also decided that Tina Shafer will coach the 14&U team. Motioned- 1^st by Nancy and 2^nd by Jason. We also discussed funding for all-stars. We all agreed that $500 per team will be allowed and $150 for shirts. It was also brought up to check for sponsors for all-stars.

6. Next Meeting, Sunday, June 5^th, at 6:30 at Penn Twp.
