Meeting Discussion Items:

1.     Call to Order – Meeting called to order at 6:33 PM by Ron Baker.

2.     Treasury Report  - Tammy presented the final report.  The sponsorship was a great help this year and will continue for next season. Concessions were a lot lower than last year. Motion cast by Jim Reed for donation to Penn for $1000, second-Tammy Sheibley, motion passed. Motion by Jim Reed for donation to Wagner for $750, second-Timi Lesperance, motion passed.

3.     Equipment and Key Turn-in– Coaches are to bring their equipment bags and Keys to Penn Township on Sunday, November 13th at 5pm. They should inventory their equipment bags and provide a list of needed or disposed items to give to the Board for purchasing next year. Timi will email the coaches.

4.     Concessions -  Discussion about changes for next year. Ron will contact Pam that provides concessions for his horseshoe league and invite her to the next meeting. Huey’s was a rough experience, money totals were lower than expected, not all games were attended. Feedback was mixed from the group. A decision will need to be made before on how to handle the contracts with the vendors.   Discussion will continue about Huey’s for next year and possible new means. A pre-season Mutzabaugh’s sandwich sale was discussed and agreed upon by the Board, the top seller will receive a gift card.

5.     Sponsorships – We will continue with sponsorships for 2012. A special letter will be drafted to 2011 sponsors stating a discounted rate of $275 for a team sponsorship or $125 for general sponsorships. Timi will draft a letter with detachable receipt.

6.     Comments on 2011 Season – The Board will ask West Shore League if there is a fee to join their organization for 2012. Overall having the West Shore teams was a plus for U14 and U18 age groups, although the competition and lack of tournaments was discouraging. Jim requested that U-18 teams be allotted at least 15 players to avoid having ‘permanent’ U14 girls playing up.  There was also some issues with umpires that will need to be addressed with ASA before next season. The season was fantastic for post-season play for All-Star teams. U-10, who took the national championship and U-10 and U-14 for winning the state championships.

7.     Open Discussion – Tina mentioned that shirt costs will increase for next year.
Question posed as to whether Wagner will spray for weeds.
Question as to whether all of the sponsorship plaques were delivered. Yes.

8.     Next Meeting- Nov. 13th at 6pm directly following equipment turn-in, at Penn Twp Bldg.

Meeting adjourned at 7:42 PM
