BOARD MEETING

Minutes 6/16/13

The meeting of the DAGSA Board was held on June 16, 2013. Board members present were Ron Baker, Jason Urich, Tina Shaffer, Andy Kreiger, Jim Evans, Jason Brouse, Tammy Sheibley, Heath Sands and Nancy Lucia.

The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM by President Ron Baker.

Minutes were not read from April 7^th meeting. Nancy Lucia turned in her Resignation.

Treasurer’s Report:

No Treasure’s report was given. Nancy Lucia turned in her Resignation.

Board members assembled necklaces for Player Appreciation Party.

14U Playoffs. 5 maybe 6 teams. Tournament will be one day held on 6/22 @ Wagner Park

We will need to run extension cords for fryers.

Jim and Ron will prepare fields on Friday morning 9am.

Tammy to send an email to coaches to remind their parents that they can help with tournaments to earn concession fee back.

Tina will make a concession schedule for teams.

Firecracker at Penn and Wagner June 28, 29 and 30. Parents to help.

4- 10U teams, 4- 12U teams, 5-14U teams, 5or 6-18U teams

Do not schedule Westminster team for Friday

Tournament will have two seed games, then double elimination. 4 game guarantee.

Brueners will help at player appreciation.

Start setting up at 5:30 for player appreciation.

Jim Renner from Penn twp. wants to buy our overstock to use for Music Festival in July.

Rachel Sterner has not played at all this year for DAGSA because she made it on travel team. Parents are asking for registration fee back. Jason made motion to recover our costs then give rest back, Heath 2^nd

Pub women’s team now wants to use Penn Twp, field. This will not interfere with DAGSA.

Tammy asked about Fall Ball. We will need to gauge interest.
