1/15/17 Board Meeting Minutes

Called to order at 4:55 pm

Present: Jason Brouse, Holli Reidlinger, Greg Lingle, Andy Kreiger, Jason Urich, Sharon Taube, Ron Baker, Jim Evans, Doug Young, Tammy Sheibley and Jen Swails

Absent: Mike Brandt, Jon Fritz, Heath Sands, Marty Glace

Holli has looked in the online sign up tool “Time to Sign Up”. The cost annually is $14.99 and could be used for volunteer opportunities to better coordinate. Will look into if it has capabilities to send reminder texts, as well as email.

Tammy noted that Team Snap does send email and texts

By-laws were reviewed and amended.

Review of upcoming important dates:

1/22/17: The final sign up will be held from 3-4. Board members will receive a call list this week.

1/29/17: PCGSA league meeting will be held at 5pm

1/31/17: Last day for registration without late fee

2/05/17: Drop Dead date for registration

2/12/17: DAGSA draft will be held at 6pm at Penn Twp

3/05/17: Parent clothing order day at Penn Twp 1-4pm

Old Business:

Tball vs 8U: DAGSA will continue to offer Tball

Discussions needed for PCGSA meeting vote:

1. Play down rule: If a player decides to “play up”, they will not be able to “play down” reguardless of ACA age. Jason Urich motions, Sharon Taube Seconds – All in favor.

2. Rosters must be submitted prior to the first game and a suggestion to have them on the PCGSA website will be made

3. Separate rosters for playoffs and tournaments must be submitted prior to start of tournament

Next Board Meeting will be held at Sorrento’s on 1/31/17 at 6:30pm.
