Board Minutes from January 27, 2019

Present:  Ron Baker, Jen Swails, Andy Kreiger, Tammy Sheibley, Marty Glace, Doug Young, Joey Gonzalez, Dave Prinz, Greg Lingle, Patty Clouser, Holli Reidlinger, Sharon Taube

Absent:  Jason Brouse

Called to order at 6:00PM

All letters presented to the board regarding players playing above their actual age group were discussed and approved contingent upon final numbers for each age group.

A letter was submitted to the board to allow Addison Clark to re-enter the draft.  Doug motioned to approve, Jen Second. All in favor.  Addison will re-enter the draft as requested.

Coaches were approved for the following age groups:

               18U - Tammy Sheibly

               14U - Andy Kreiger

               12U - Jen Swails

               10U - John Kulp, Ron Baker, Holli Reidlinger

               8U - Coaches needed

               Tball - Coach needed

Coaches will be reminded that there should be NO hitting into the fence at any of the DAGSA fields.  It is causing significant damage to the fencing.

18U drop dead will be extended to see if other associations in the league have any teams to play or if the Board will look into tournament play for this age group.

Coaches Meeting will be held at 3:30pm on February 10, 2019

Player Draft will be held at 4pm on February 10, 2019

Perry County League Meeting will be held at 5pm on February 10, 2019

Field Days:

               Penn Township - April 6, 2019 - Start time 9am

               Wagner Park - April 13, 2019 - Start time 9am

Opening Day

               April 27, 2019 - 9 AM start.  Pictures will also be held this day

Spiritwear/Uniform Try On

               February 24, 2019 - Sharon will set a staggered schedule as soon as teams are decided

By-laws were reviewed and amended as required.
